I learned a LOT last year from some awesome people. Yes, I had to wade through a bunch of “not so great products” (to say it nicely) but I was able to find some extraordinary ones. I thought I might tell you about a few of the people that I believe have great products. This will give you an opportunity to go straight to the best without having to weed through the junk.
To earn my rating of “Awesome”, these folks offer great information, always over-deliver and leave me much better off having experienced their product or service. A little entertainment and humor always adds points too!

Yay – the Holidays are approaching! I want to give everyone some inspiration to take a work break (oh yes, I went there). Spend some quality time with your loved ones this holiday season. Maybe I should say… spend some FUN time with the loved ones!
Loved ones do not always come in human form. Since I was a kid, I have loved all my pets like crazy. Check out this video I saw on YouTube about a soldier’s reunion with his dog. I am a big dog lover so I totally love it.
Reunions are great when it is with someone you love (or at least like a lot). Your FUN reunion today is only a phone call away. Surprise someone you haven’t seen in ages with a phone call and laugh about the good ol’ times together. You know what I mean, the stories and memories that still make you crack up laughing years later. Who was with you during that time? Are they still around? Give them a call and “get your laugh on”.

You need to decide who you are and what kind of person you want to be. I want to be one of the “good guys” (gals) in both life and business. Ethical, honest, helpful and trustworthy. I want to surround myself with the same kind of people.
It can be hard sometimes in the Internet Marketing world to figure out who is a good guy, and who is not. There are a lot of great, quality people in Internet Marketing (and there are also some tricksters). Anything that can help distinguish the good from the bad is worth checking out. That is why I like Omar Martin’s IM Trustworthy program (affiliate link). I got signed up with his program and put the IM Trustworthy seal on my blog. Anyone can click on the seal and be taken to a page to see who I am and read my rating. Other IM Trustworthy members have the ability comment about me regarding character and ethics.
I can also go to the IM Trustworthy site and check out other marketers that are registered there. I can check out their rating and feedback to get a sense of who they are. I was not surprised to see some of my favorite Internet Markers registered and enjoying high ratings. It is a great place to look for JV partners and communicate with others that have high standards.
You can get a Free membership or get an upgraded Premier membership for $17 per month. Of course, the Premier members have some additional features but the Free membership is a great place to start.
I have had a fun and productive week. My current eBook project is about the “Like, Know and Trust” factor. It is about how to build a relationship with potential customers. You need to earn a potential customer’s trust to be able to gain a happy, loyal and long term customer.
I decided to interview some successful people that I trusted very quickly before I became their customer. This week, I interviewed both John Thornhill and Dan Miller (not at the same time). I asked them lots of questions (actually it was border-line bombardment of questions) about their thoughts and strategies for gaining long term loyal customers. Both guys were very generous with their time and had great information to share. We did straight audio and I plan to also get them transcribed.
I have a couple more interviews scheduled in the upcoming weeks with some awesome people, and am really looking forward to it. All of these interviews will become available after I get the project finished.

It is awesome when you can find a way to combine something you love with making money. Some people do this from the start of their careers, while others struggle to find that great combination. I always like to show good examples of unique ways to make money when I find them. It inspires me, and I hope it inspires you too.
Here is an example of someone who obviously likes animals and is entertaining tons of people (over 67 million at the time of this post) while making money.
This video cracks me up every time I watch it. When a video is getting over 67 million views on You Tube, you are making some cash.
The great thing about the internet is it provides so many opportunities to combine things you like and making money. It may take some imagination and research, but the opportunities are there. It might be writing eBooks in a specialty niche, making You Tube videos, having a niche membership site, creating podcasts, etc. etc.
It is so easy to get bogged down in the stress of every day life. Today I want to encourage you to take some time to think “out-of-the-box” and see what ideas you can come up with. Maybe such crazy ideas as making money with a “talking dog video”. One great idea can change your life. It can and does happen most every day.
Randy Smith specializes in freebies. I say that because I was just sent to his gifts page after subscribing to his blog. When I say gifts page, I literally mean a page filled with many many gifts. Not just one gift, not just 10 gifts, I got a ton of gifts! Awesome gifts too, by the way. Whatever you are working on right now, I bet several of Randy’s gifts will help you TODAY.
My favorite freebie was a 25 page report called “Giveaways Work 4 Little Guys”. I have recently started contributing to Giveaways, so the information is very relevant to what I am working on right now. The cool part about Randy is he is very honest about the advantages and disadvantages of different choices and options related to Giveaways. I also learned several great tips on how to advertise the giveaways that go beyond the regular e-mail blast. I plan to use this information immediately to make a positive impact on my business. What more can you ask from any product, much less a freebie?
By the way, I decided to check out Randy’s blog after hearing him being interviewed. I like his style and his mindset…enjoy life, treat people right and keep your subscribers happy (obviously he knows how to do that, I am very happy with my gifts!). I believe I will learn a lot from him, even after I go through my ton of freebies.
Everyone wants to be appreciated. It is human nature and there is nothing wrong with it. In business and life in general, showing appreciation for folks can go a long way in building relationships. I bet your customers, JV partners, or someone who has helped you along the way would love to get a “thank you” from you today. What a powerful business tool!
I like this video from Jim Cockrum. He shows a simple and quick way to send a unique and unforgettable “thank you” to most anyone. I had never heard of this site before, but it is pretty cool. I am posting the video to give you inspiration to start thanking people today. Their product costs money (I am not an affiliate, but I may end up being a customer) , but I like the concept so I posted the video. The great thing is, there are a million ways to thank someone without spending any money.
In the video Jim talks about how thanking people can really boost your business. It would be great to figure out a way to do it that works for you.

If you are a time-strapped internet entrepreneur, PLR articles (Private Label Rights) are very valuable to you. PLR articles are pieces of ready-made content that you can buy and then use as if it’s your own. Here is a quick list of some of the more popular ways you can use them:
1. Use them for article marketing purposes. Writing articles on your own to submit to article directories is very time-consuming. You can purchase bundles of PLR articles, rewrite them, then feed them into article directories. This will save you a lot of time and effort. PLR articles are generally inexpensive so your investment can be very minimal. You can literally get a dozen of articles for just a few bucks.
2. Publish them on your website or blog. If you are too busy to write your own content, PLR articles can save the day. Make sure that before you publish a PLR article on your site, edit it and give your own voice to it first. Understand that there are probably hundreds of other marketers who bought the same PLR articles. If you publish the articles as is, your site might be accused of containing duplicate or copied content. This can cause damage to your rankings in the search engines. So always rewrite before you hit on the publish button.
3. Create an eBook based on the PLR articles then sell it. A lot of online entrepreneurs have built successful businesses doing just this. You can do it as well! One of the secrets is to find a popular niche where there are few e-books being sold.
4. Rewrite and use them in your mailing list or newsletter. PLR articles are great sources for new content.
5. Give away the articles as an incentive. For example, you can bundle a few dozen PLR articles then give them out for free to those who subscribe to your email list or newsletter. You can also create an eBook out of the articles then give it out for free. People will be more convinced to join your mailing list if you give them a free bonus.
These are the most common ways to use PLR articles. It’s pretty easy to find these kinds of articles. A simple search on Google for the term “PLR” can show a ton of results. Be careful when buying these articles online. This is an online market and there are a few scammers out there. Read customer reviews about the provider to ensure that they have a great reputation.
