I am a strong believer in having multiple streams of income. Some big and some small, but all together you get a nice pool of income.  I have started creating some Squidoo lenses (web-pages) and plan to make some nice Christmas season cash with them. 

Here are a few reasons that I suggest that Squidoo is an option as one of your income streams:

1.) It is FREE to use Squidoo. This can be a way to get some funds coming in when first starting out or if funds are tight.

2.) It is EASY to use Squidoo. Even a beginner can quickly get going and have web pages that look nice. You can take an hour or two and have a nice page up and ready to go.

3.)  There are money making modules built into Squidoo. You can get started right away without waiting to be approved as an affiliate for different companies. If you decide to be an affiliate for other places, you can add those links into your Squidoo projects.

4.) You can focus on a subject that interests you.  I believe this makes it more fun, don’t you?   

5.) It will help you get in on Christmas season opportunities.  A lot of gift sales are made between October and December.

You do want to be aware that Squidoo does own the material once it is up (kind of like You Tube).  For this reason, I personally would not make Squidoo my only income source (just in case of an unknown event).  Multiple streams of income are the best way to go (in my opinion).  For most people Squidoo is one of their smaller income streams (always nice to have though!).  Although there are folks who make a living income with it.

JOHN THORNHILL  - WSO Domination was my favorite lesson about selling a Warrior Special Offer on the Warrior forum.  Another product of John’s that has been very popular(for Affiliate Marketers) is  Affiliate Promo Formula . I have gained so much knowledge from John’s  Coaching and Mentoring that I have to mention it.  The mentoring  is a high end offer, but it is fantastic.

JIM COCKRUM - The best 5 bucks I ever spent on an eBook was Jim’s  Silent Sales Machine (includes free copies of any future revisions).    I also enjoyed his  List Building Class  and one of his websites, My Silent Team.  It has a TON of info…Jim also has a FREE Newsletter at silentjim.com (over 100, 000 subscribers can’t be wrong!)

DAN MILLER – is a career coach and specializes in getting you involved in work that matches your natural skills and abilities, unique personality traits, dreams and passions.  He has a heavy internet presence and I love all of Dan’s products.  Dan Miller has changed many people’s lives for the better – including mine.

Yay – the Holidays are approaching! I want to give everyone some inspiration to take a work break (oh yes, I went there). Spend some quality time with your loved ones this holiday season.  Maybe I should say… spend some FUN time with the loved ones! 

Loved ones do not always come in human form.  Since I was a kid, I have loved all my pets like crazy.  Check out this video I saw on YouTube about a soldier’s reunion with his dog.  I am a big dog lover so I totally love it.

Reunions are great when it is with someone you love (or at least like a lot). Your FUN reunion today is only a phone call away. Surprise someone you haven’t seen in ages with a phone call and laugh about the good ol’ times together. You know what I mean, the stories and memories that still make you crack up laughing years later. Who was with you during that time? Are they still around? Give them a call and “get your laugh on”.

It can be hard sometimes in the Internet Marketing world to figure out who is a good guy, and who is not. There are a lot of great, quality people in Internet Marketing (and there are also some tricksters).  Anything that can help distinguish the good from the bad is worth checking out. That is why I like Omar Martin’s IM Trustworthy program (affiliate link).  I got signed up with his program and put the IM Trustworthy seal on my blog.  Anyone can click on the seal and be taken to a page to see who I am and read my rating.  Other IM Trustworthy members have the ability comment about me regarding character and ethics.

I can also go to the IM Trustworthy site and check out other marketers that are registered there.  I can check out their rating and feedback to get a sense of who they are.   I was not surprised to see some of my favorite Internet Markers registered  and enjoying high ratings.  It is a great place to look for JV partners and communicate with others that have high standards.

You can get a Free membership or get  an upgraded Premier membership for $17 per month. Of course, the Premier members have some additional features but the Free membership is a great place to start.  

I decided to interview some successful people that I trusted very quickly before I became their customer.     This week, I interviewed both John Thornhill and Dan Miller (not at the same time).  I asked them lots of questions (actually it was border-line bombardment of questions) about their thoughts and strategies for gaining long term loyal customers.  Both guys were very generous with their time and had great information to share.  We did straight audio and I plan to also get them transcribed.

I have a couple more interviews scheduled in the upcoming weeks with some awesome people, and am really looking forward to it.  All of these interviews will become available after I get the project finished.

Here is an example of someone who obviously likes animals and is entertaining tons of people (over 67 million at the time of this post) while making money.

This video cracks me up every time I watch it.  When a video is getting over 67 million views on You Tube, you are making some cash. 

The great thing about the internet is it provides so many opportunities to combine things you like and making money.  It may take some imagination and research, but the opportunities are there.  It might be writing eBooks in a specialty niche, making You Tube videos, having a niche membership site, creating podcasts, etc. etc. 

It is so easy to get bogged down in the stress of every day life. Today I want to encourage you to take some time to think “out-of-the-box” and see what  ideas you can come up with.  Maybe such crazy ideas as making money with a “talking dog video”.   One great idea can change your life. It can and does happen most every day.

I like this video from Jim Cockrum.  He shows a simple and quick way to send a unique and unforgettable “thank you” to most anyone.  I had never heard of this site before, but it is pretty cool.   I am posting the video to give you inspiration to start thanking people today. Their product costs money (I am not an affiliate, but I may end up being a customer) , but I like the concept so I posted the video.  The great thing is, there are a million ways to thank someone without spending any money.

In the video Jim talks about how thanking people can really boost your business.  It would be great to figure out a way to do it that works for you.

Come on, you can do it!   Make it a point to thank someone today…and tomorrow….and the next day too.   Hey, thanks for taking the time to read my post!

What I saw happen today totally blew my socks off.   I received several e-mail notifications from some real “big dog” internet marketers promoting this book for Jim.  The great thing was,  they are not taking any profit from their promotions of the book.  They were promoting it for free, or donating their proceeds to the same organization.  Folks coming together to do good works. I love it.

I was curious what idea a 5th grader with an entrepreneurial spirit might come up with to make money in this day and age.  I did not have to look any further then www.fiverr.com.  It is a website where people will do all kinds of things for 5 bucks.  While checking it out, I came across this kid who offered to make videos while holding your sign and doing crazy stuff (dancing, crying, oinking, whatever).  In the spirit of child entrepreneurs everywhere, I had to give him some business for 5 dollars.
